SmartGrid Lite: An ESP32-Based Intelligent Multi-Load Control and Environmental Monitoring System with Real-Time Status Visualization

SmartGrid Lite is an intelligent IoT-enabled automation system designed to monitor environmental conditions and control multiple AC electrical loads in real time. The system is built around the ESP32 microcontroller and integrates a 4-channel relay module for automated switching and management of up to three independent AC loads.

A DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor continuously measures environmental conditions, enabling users to monitor ambient parameters and make intelligent control decisions. The measured values, along with load status information, are displayed on a 16×2 I2C LCD, providing a user-friendly local monitoring interface.

The power supply section consists of a 12V step-down transformer, bridge rectifier, filter capacitor, and 7805 voltage regulator, ensuring a stable DC power source for the control electronics. LED indicators provide visual feedback regarding system operation, load status, and power availability.

The ESP32 enables wireless connectivity, allowing remote monitoring and control through IoT platforms. The system can be expanded to support smart home automation, energy management, industrial load control, and environmental monitoring applications.

By combining real-time sensing, intelligent load control, wireless communication, and user-friendly visualization, SmartGrid Lite offers an efficient and scalable solution for modern automation and energy management systems.
