The SmartAC Drive system is an ESP32-based intelligent AC motor speed controller designed for precise regulation of single-phase AC motors and fans. The system utilizes a TRIAC-based phase-angle control technique to dynamically adjust the voltage supplied to the motor, enabling smooth and efficient speed variation.

An ESP32 microcontroller serves as the central controller, generating firing pulses through an optically isolated driver circuit to ensure safe operation between the low-voltage control section and the high-voltage AC power stage. Motor speed information and operating status are displayed on an OLED screen, while a buzzer provides audible feedback for speed adjustments and fault notifications.

The system can be enhanced with IoT connectivity for remote monitoring and control through smartphones or web applications. Applications include industrial ventilation systems, smart cooling systems, HVAC equipment, laboratory setups, and energy-efficient motor control platforms.
