The Self-Sustained Wind Energy Harvesting and Wireless Charging Platform for Smart Devices is a renewable energy-based embedded system designed to generate, store, monitor, and wirelessly transfer electrical energy to low-power electronic devices. The system utilizes a wind turbine generator to convert kinetic wind energy into electrical energy, providing a sustainable and environmentally friendly power source.
The generated AC power is converted into DC using a bridge rectifier and conditioned through a buck-boost converter architecture to ensure stable voltage levels. The harvested energy is stored in a 3.7V rechargeable lithium battery, enabling continuous operation even during periods of low wind availability.
A STM32 Black Pill microcontroller serves as the central controller, monitoring system parameters through voltage sensing circuits and an SDM energy monitoring module. Real-time information such as battery voltage, generated power, charging status, and energy consumption is displayed on an OLED display.
The stored energy is transferred to compatible smart devices through a wireless charging module, eliminating the need for physical charging cables. The system intelligently manages energy flow between generation, storage, and wireless power transfer stages to maximize efficiency and battery life.
The proposed platform provides a self-sustaining green-energy solution suitable for remote charging stations, smart cities, IoT devices, and portable renewable energy applications.
