The Low-Cost Autonomous Street Light Management System Using LDR Sensing and Renewable Energy Sources is an energy-efficient lighting solution designed to operate automatically using solar power. The system employs an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) to detect ambient light conditions and control the street lamp without the use of a microcontroller. During daylight hours, the solar panel charges the rechargeable battery while the street light remains OFF. When the surrounding light intensity decreases at dusk, the LDR activates a relay that switches the street light ON using the stored battery energy.
A buck-boost converter is incorporated to provide a stable output voltage, ensuring reliable operation under varying battery conditions.
