BioVote: Secure Fingerprint-Based Electronic Voting System

BioVote is a secure and reliable fingerprint-based electronic voting system designed to ensure transparency, authenticity, and tamper-proof electoral processes. This project utilizes a fingerprint sensor module integrated with an Arduino microcontroller to authenticate voters based on their biometric identity. Each voter can cast their vote only once, eliminating the chances of duplication or fraud.

The system features a user-friendly interface using an LCD display to guide voters through the process. Once a registered fingerprint is scanned, the vote is recorded securely in the system, and a confirmation message is displayed. Additional features such as a buzzer for alerts and optional GSM integration can be used to send voting summaries or notifications to administrators.
