The AI-Assisted Vehicle Undercarriage Inspection and Thermal Anomaly Detection System is an intelligent robotic inspection platform designed to enhance vehicle safety, maintenance efficiency, and security through automated underbody monitoring. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller integrated with a thermal camera, ultrasonic sensor, IR sensor, and other embedded sensors to perform comprehensive vehicle undercarriage inspections.

The robotic platform autonomously navigates beneath parked or stationary vehicles using DC gear motors controlled through an L298N motor driver. A thermal camera continuously captures temperature profiles of critical vehicle components such as brake assemblies, exhaust systems, electric vehicle battery packs, motors, and transmission units. AI-assisted thermal analysis identifies abnormal heat patterns, hotspots, and potential faults before they become critical failures.

An ultrasonic sensor enables obstacle detection and collision avoidance, while an IR sensor assists in vehicle positioning and navigation. A float switch sensor can be integrated to detect fluid leakage conditions, such as coolant, oil, or battery electrolyte leakage. Inspection results and system status are displayed on an OLED screen, while a buzzer provides immediate alerts whenever thermal anomalies or safety hazards are detected.

The entire system operates on a rechargeable 3.7V lithium battery pack protected by a Battery Management System (BMS) and regulated through a buck converter, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
